MG Astor's Savvy variation launched at Rs 15.78 lakh: India's most Economical Car

 MG Motor India has launched the top-spec Savvy variant of the Astor at a onset price of Rs 15.78 Lakh, ex-outlet Delhi. The MG Astor is the most modest automobile in India with ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance System)



The MG Astor is the newest entrant in the ever-growing and hugely competitive midsize SUV segment. It has been launched at an introductory price of Rs 9.78 lakh, going up to Rs 15.78 lakh  (ex-showroom, Delhi, India). However, these prices will only be valid for the first 5,000 bookings that will be delivered this year.
  • Astor is available in four trims – Style, Super, Smart and Sharp
  • Level 2 ADAS features are an optional extra
  • Powered by 1.3-litre turbo-petrol and 1.5-litre petrol engines

MG Astor: variant details

The MG Astor is available in four different trims – Style, Super, Smart and Sharp. The base 1.5-litre petrol engine with a manual gearbox is available on all four trims, while the CVT automatic version has been skipped on the base Style trim. The 1.3-litre turbo-petrol engine, meanwhile, will only be offered on the top two trims.

What’s interesting to note is that the Astor’s Level 2 ADAS features, which is one of the biggest highlights of the SUV, are only available as an optional extra on the top-spec Sharp automatic variants. The Sharp trim with Level 2 ADAS package is also known as Savvy.

MG Astor: engine and gearbox options

Under the hood, the MG Astor gets two petrol engine options. The first is a 110hp, 144Nm, 1.5-litre naturally aspirated four-cylinder petrol engine which comes mated to a five-speed manual or eight-step CVT automatic gearbox. The other option is a 140hp, 220Nm, 1.3-litre, three-cylinder turbo-petrol engine that comes mated to only a 6-speed torque converter automatic.

Positioned right in the heart of the midsize SUV segment, the MG Astor rivals the likes of 
Hyundai Creta, Nissan Kicks, Renault Duster, Skoda Kushaq Volkswagen Taigun.

Instagram Meta-owned Instagram is probably one of the worst social networks in existence right now, as it (along with Meta’s other social network, Facebook) has faced scandal after scandal over the past few months. Land Rover To Roll Out An All-Electric Range Rover In 2024

  British Car Manufacturing Company, Land Rover   on Tuesday announced its plans to add an all-electric Range Rover to its lineup in 2024. W hich includes plug-in hybrid and electric variants. The announcement is coming on the heels of the 2022 Range Rover revelation by the company, a fifth generation redesigned luxury SUV adorned  with tech  features, an electrical architecture mooted to support over-the-air software updates of the car.
